Reflections,
observations, random thoughts, mental notes!
|
I
applied soothing mask this morning instead of my normal day cream. My skin said thank you, thank you, thank
you and lapped up every last drop.
I
am intriguingly addicted to the smell of this product. It reminds me of fresh paint, evoking happy
childhood memories of DIY work with my dad.
Oh this is so not going to be adopted as strapline “Soothing mask, smells like paint..in a
good way”…hmmmm I had better stick to the day job!

My
Skin
How
comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
|
The
difference in my skin when I use Dr.Hauschka products is amazing. It feels so
much less “angry”.
I
am far less paranoid of people staring at my face. In reality, you could probably walk around
with the Owl Marching band on your nose and nobody would care, but acne has
an amazing ability to make you feel like a book judged by its spotty cover.

The
Olympic medal tally keeps increasing ; )
Brilliant to see Tom Daley’s euphoric reaction to his bronze success,
the following tweet sums it up nicely:
“US breaks into tears. China breaks into
tears. Team GB dive into the pool fully clothed and starts screaming. We win
there I think.”
Beautiful
early morning stroll by the river filled with the most vibrantly coloured
wildflowers.
A
perfect lazy Sunday afternoon, that is until I decided that coconut milk and
freshly juiced pineapple would make a glorious Piña Colada ice. What no lolly moulds? I felt like Aha “hunting
high and low”. Thank you Mr. John Lewis for eventually making my ice lolly
creation dreams come true, rocket style:

Quote
for the day:

“The universe is always speaking to us. ...
Sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding
us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more.”
