Reflections, observations, random thoughts, mental notes!
The compress at the end of my cleanse is so lovely, I feel want to do reapply the wonderfully cooling muslin ad infinitum. However, less is more, too much of a good thing and all that!

My Skin
How comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
A cheeky cheek spot has appeared, although I am surprised it has not brought a million and one friends along for the ride.  Obviously, I am not over the moon about this, nobody greets a spot with elation.  At least I am treating my skin with respect, and feel confident enough to let my body heal itself. I am quite convinced that if I had been using any other products this week, I would have scrubbed, touched and picked it into huge cyst proportions.

Activities & Mood:
My nephew has made it back home to Ireland – words cannot express how relieved I feel.  Still a legal minefield to get him recognized as an Irish or British citizen, but all heading in the right direction.

GB Olympic Medal tally increasing rapidly, I think we are now 3rd in the table – rowing golds galore.

I have had words with the wheatgrass……kind words of encouragement, so far not a sprout in sight (that will teach me to glibly state it only takes 8 or so days to harvest).

Who knew raw sweet corn in salads was so delicious?  And why hadn’t they informed me? I suspect that they also knew that juicing a large quantity of alfalfa does not a delicious juice make!  I think I will stick to carrot, beetroot, ginger and apple tomorrow morning.

Picture for the day:
Alas, this is not a picture I have taken myself (well..at least that means a break from shots of earth with miniscule seedlings!), but I thought it was a striking image.  I noticed it from a Twitter RT (source @TaylorHerringPR),
Quote for the day:
“Let's face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me.”
Audrey Hepburn
