Reflections, observations, random thoughts, mental notes!
I rediscovered the following video this morning -  Fotoshop by Adobé I especially like the line “My skin feels like plastic”

My Skin
How comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
Reaching the halfway stage, my skin is thankfully not feeling plastic, but well…gloriously like my own skin; a living, breathing part of a harmonious whole. Still the odd spot appearing, but greeted with love rather than a pan scourer.
This morning I applied moisturizing mask instead of my usual moisturizer (Melissa Day Cream). I left it on for 20mins and then dabbed off the excess; rather than spend the day with mask on my face like some sort of random lunatic.  Not a lot of excess though, with the hot weather my skin really needed a hydrating boost.

Activities & Mood:
The hairbrush has come out of hiding – hurrah!  How it got into my underwear drawer is anybody’s guess, maybe it went looking for missing socks!

The wheatgrass, thanks to the loving administrations of my mother, is coming on leaps and bounds.

I totally confused someone today by using the word “snozzwanger”, something I picked it up from the wonderful world of Roald Dahl.  I love language.

“Nothing but thick jungles infested by the most dangerous beasts in the world — hornswogglers and snozzwangers and those terrible wicked whangdoodles.” (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)

I had a “red shoe moment” whilst out in town.  No, not a desire to buy some gorgeous footwear, rather the notion, so eloquently expressed in the Wizard of Oz, that we each carry the power to fulfill our own dreams.  Ok, so I don’t have this week’s winning Lottery Numbers, but I was struck by the power of positive thought.  Perhaps it was my mother’s determination that the wheatgrass was not doomed to a life as “mouldy sprouts” (shame on the cat for suggesting that!).
Somehow, we have much more belief in negative ideas “oh I bet I will get a hideous spot just before my job interview”, lo and behold; the spot appears, as hideous as requested.  Like a reverse Jedi mind trick, you can carry others to a belief in the dark side “oh I wouldn’t give me the job either, I am rubbish”.  From this moment forth I am resolved to believe in the power of positive thought.
Note: Jedi mind tricks do not work on machinery – the Oyster readers will not accept a Boots card, no matter how hard you try!

Quotes for the day:
“If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right.”  Henry Ford

“All you desire is possible, but all that you dread is also possible...' J K Rowling (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows).
