Reflections, observations, random thoughts, mental notes!
In my travels of all things Facebook, I happened upon an interesting article published this week – Beautiful On Raw Vs. Dr.Hauschka. I always like to consider different viewpoints and I appreciate that the lack of night cream in the Dr.Hauschka routine causes a few raised eyebrows (smiling to myself that they can be permanently raised with Botox – oh the joy of a frozen face.. I digress).  The author concludes “All debate aside, I do believe Dr. Hauschka’s company and products to be among the most impressive available today. I am only pointing out how our philosophies variously differ.”
I will not be swapping my Dr.Hauschka products any time soon. However, I do agree that good diet is essential.  With regards to exfoliating, I have picked up that particular brush before and won’t be returning to it in a hurry : )

My Skin
How comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
Reduction in spots along my jawline (hurrah!).  My complexion is a perhaps a little grey, or is that simply a case of my thoughts reflected on my face?

Activities & Mood:
I have often thought that being a decent human being is very much a work in progress:

“It's so easy to laugh. It's so easy to hate. It takes strength to be gentle and kind” – oh dear, if I am listening to the Smiths on my iPod, definitely time to crack open a warming bottle of Rosemary bath and eat some Turkish Delight (yes, diet is important, but you need to feed your soul ; )

Even my early morning walk seemed a bit overcast by my thoughts.  It is a case of “candle in the darkness” syndrome, where I struggle with people who only have time for their own problems.  Mental note to remember the following:

“Don’t feel bad if people only remember you when they need you... Feel privileged that you are like a candle that comes to their mind when there is darkness”  – unknown

Glorious red kit spied from afar (see picture of the day – seemed more appropriate to my mood than a bright flower or gentle butterfly).

Wheatgrass will be ready to be harvested tomorrow – wheatgrass shots galore (well actually just the one, very bad things occur if you overdose on wheatgrass.  Much worse than the time I consumed a 500g bag of dried apricots in one sitting!)
Picture for the day:

Quote for the day:
“Every thought has the power to bring into being the visible from the invisible. It is absolutely necessary for us all to understand that everything we think, do or say comes back to us. Every thought, word or action- without exception- manifests itself [in some way] as an actual reality.”  Ann Wigmore
