My Skin
How comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
Dr.Hauschka are the ONLY products I have ever used that empower me to treat my skin with love and respect.  I feel completely battered by the current storm in my life, but gently kissed by the products.
I am starting to use the Rhythmic Night-time conditioner this evening, the lovely team have so kindly sent me a box to support my blog.

Activities & Mood:
It is quite ironic that in my introduction to my blog I had included the phrase “What a difference a day makes”, 24 hours ago my world was shaken; like a snow globe, the pieces are still free falling and I have no idea where they will settle nor the shape of the landscape they will form.
I have taken great comfort in the amazing support my family have received, which gives me hope. The hardest part now is waiting for news. I am taking great comfort from writing down, albeit briefly, my thoughts each day – what started as a journey of the skin has become a journey of the soul.  I am going to attempt some embroidery – another evening distraction activity, instead of pacing up and down the hallway, staring at my mobile and checking my mail.  The last time I did embroidery I was 5 years old and managed to cross-stitch my work onto my skirt – could be amusing if nothing else.

Golds for rowing and cycling today – hurrah team GB!
Picture for the day:
Some of the seedlings planted on Day 1 are poking up through the soil– like love and hope shining through the darkness.

Quotes for the day:
Two quotes today, one from Tolkien, one from C S Lewis, but as they were close friends I’m sure they won’t mind sharing the space.  One is related to my thought about journey of the soul..

“You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.” – C S Lewis

The other came to mind when I saw the plants growing:

“The world is indeed full of peril and in it there are many dark places.
But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now
mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater
.”  - J L Tolkien, Lord of the Rings
