Reflections,

Eucalyptus
bark in Kew Gardens reminded me of how my skin felt and looked in the
Hauschka free week:

|
My
Skin
How
comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
|
I
have had stern words with self! It dawned
on me that the “one dollar more” trap can apply to skin. At one point I used to pray to be able to
leave the house (such was my paranoia about my collection of unsightly
bobbles), I sometimes forget how much it has improved and bemoan the appearance
of the slightest pimple.
Overall,
I would rate my skin comfort level at an “I
would have never believed it was possible” 8 out of 10.

Activities
& Mood:

We
have just received the most fantastic news, that my beautiful nephew will be
granted Irish citizenship. Words
cannot express how happy this makes me, nor my gratitude for everyone's kind support.
I
visited Kew Gardens at lunchtime, totally enchanted by the squashes hanging
from the glass roof in the Waterlily House, sort of magical Cinderella feel
about them.
Note
to self: Stop experimenting with Chia seed porridge recipes – the rhubarb,
strawberry and coconut version was maybe a step too far!

Quote
for the day:

“Miracles are like pimples, because once
you start looking for them you find more than you ever dreamed you'd see.”
