Reflections, observations, random thoughts, mental notes!
I remember that, when I first encountered the concept of compressing, my muslin handling left a lot to be desired! To watch me in action was much akin to watching a fight with a pasta maker - giant sheets of lasagne wildly flapping around. Fortunately, there is another handy little video on the Dr.Hauschka site, which also gives good tips on which Bath to use.

Lately, I haven’t been sleeping that well; so wide-awake at 6.35am I decided to use the time for a footbath and eye solace treat - bliss.

My Skin
How comfortable does my skin feel after cleansing?
My skin is starting to scab over (oh how attractive that sounds! I should have perhaps used terms like repair and regenerate).  This is danger zone territory for me. I would normally be tempted to give nature a "helping hand" – literally - by removing all that unwanted dead skin in double quick time. Fortunately, one thing that the Radiant You routine immediately gives you is time for reflection – the smell of the Lavender Bath calmed my senses. To use a concept from the Matrix (the film, not a L’Oreal product which are best not used at all in my experience) I have been down that road before and I don’t like where it leads.

Activities & Mood:
Made the most delicious Rhubarb & Custard Smoothie for lunch:
·      ¼ packet Alpro Soya Custard (ok that is cheating the smoothie was bound to be delicious no matter what else I added!)
·      Handful of frozen strawberries
·      1 stick of raw rhubarb peeled and chopped (leaves and root are poisonous so stay well clear of those in any creations).
·      Freshly extracted juice of 2 oranges

Whizz up all ingredients together in a Vitamix (kind of kitchen appliance that has a “hooooow much? I asked to buy a blender not a cooker” price tag, but honestly worth every penny.  I use mine every day.)

Sowed some Wheatgrass seeds, so I can have Wheatgrass shots for breakfast. As it takes about 8 days to be ready for harvesting, here is the other type of wheatgrass shot:

Picture for the day:
Pneumatophores (I enjoy saying this word quickly, people often mistake it for a sneeze).  Taken at Kew Gardens, by the lake outside the Plants & People Exhibition. These plants do look like little people, well little creatures from Wind in the Willows

Quote for the day:
“Not all of us can do great things.  But we can do small things with great love”- Mother Teresa
